Group Practice - L1 Beginner
Astoria - Outdoors at Astoria Park
Group Practice programs help develop every aspect of a player's game. This collection of individual classes will train players on offensive and defensive tactics, skills and game intelligence. Players will develop dribbling, ball control, passing, shooting skills and more.
About the location
Astoria Park is one of the most iconic fields in all of NYC: a full sized soccer pitch that sits on the water, just under the R.F. Kennedy bridge. Beautiful turf and a short walk to neighborhood bars and restaurants.

Coach
Leo Betancourt
Coach Leo has been playing goalkeeper for over 20 years and began coaching youth players in New Jersey when he was 19 years old and now coaches adults in New York City. What he loves about the sport of soccer is that it is accessible to all individuals and provides an empowering platform to grow no matter what stage in life. His attitude is to have fun while improving, and that is the approach he applies to his training. He enjoys coaching adults who are just getting into the sport, rediscovering their love of the game, or experienced and looking to reach the next level. He lives and breathes soccer, playing among the highest competitive levels in NYC. Currently plays as a goalkeeper for Central Park Rangers of the Cosmopolitan Soccer League.
