I grew up in an era where fútbol or soccer wasn't popular. It was known as the girls sport or for immigrants. Seeing this, my mother would send me to Honduras every school break to play soccer with my cousins and see family until the age of 14. I was injured during my teenage years and tore my ACL. It wasn't until my niece wanted to play that I was inspired to coach and teach her and see her develop and that motivated me to coach others and develop their skills to their full potential. I'm now a USSF certified D license coach and have experience coaching various ages ranging from 8-16 and also coached Coed Adults teams.
