Midtown West - Outdoors at DeWitt Clinton Park

The Goalkeeper Practice Program is designed to train and develop goalkeepers of all skill levels. The program is made up of a group of classes that will focus on game awareness, shot-stopping, positional awareness, passing, punting and more.

About the location

DeWitt Clinton Park is a large, newly renovated turf pitch in midtown, on Manhattan's West Side. Fully equipped with lights, DeWitt Clinton is home to soccer all year round, day or night and accessible to anyone living on the west side of Manhattan.

Coach

Andres Villa

Coach Andres was born in Miami, Florida where soccer is a way of life for most. Like many, growing up he transitioned to the being in goal due to the team lacking a goalkeeper. After switching he quickly fell in love with the position and has been saving shots for the last 19 years. Has been assisting with the Betterplayer Goalkeepers program since the beginning and he loves sharing his knowledge and passion with others.
